How to make broth
- Put a Dashi pack and 400~500cc water in a pot and boil on medium heat.
- Once the water is boiled, cook for five to ten minutes.
- Turn off the heat. If you prefer a strong flavor, leave it for 30 minutes off the heat.
- Press the Dashi pack a few times with a ladle and take it out of the broth.
Easy Dashi with the powder
- Tear a pack and put half of the powder in 400cc water in a pot.
- Boil it for one to two minutes and turn off the heat.
*The texture of this Dashi is a little bit grainy, but it is very nutritious.
You can also sprinkle the powder over the dish such as miso soup.
