Setsubun on February 2nd, 2025

We usually celebrate Setsubun on February 3rd but this year, on February 2nd.
The reason seems to be something to do with the positional relation between the sun and the earth.
Setsubun is the last day of winter according to the traditional Japanese calender where people throw beans away saying, “Devils out! Happiness in!”
These days, people also eat the sushi rolls called “Ehou-Maki” on this holiday looking at a certain direction, which is west south-west this year.
