Product Description | Enjoy the authentic and deep flavor of the Dashi from our thick shavings of dried bonito. We make it from scratch using traditional techniques our ancestors have passed on from around 1700, and shave it in the way many local chefs love. Good match with any Japanese cousin especially the soup for Soba. To make Dashi, boil a litter of water. Once it’s boiled, add 30 grams of thick shavings, and boil for 20 to 25 minutes. Then, drain the broth in a strainer. |
